Great news, personally I like Dell because of the quality of their products.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how Windows based laptops have improved on the trackpads and quality? Before I switched on the Mac bandwagon, I have always had a laptop since the early 90s. I average one laptop a year. By then it is either not working properly and in all cases, battery life is around 50% of brand new.
ReplyDeleteFor MacBooks, I am averaging 3 years and by then battery life would still be 70-80% of brand new.
First of all, I think the Dell XPS line up has one of the best designs ever made for a laptop because of its metal frame design, slim profile and overall build. Their infinity edge display is I think one of the highlights of this laptop because of its bezel less design. They were able to make a 15.6 inch screen sized laptop to have the same dimensions as your typical 14 inch laptop which is great. On top of it all, it has a very powerful hardware (6th gen core i7 skylake and even a dedicated video card) you can even play the latest video games on this bad boy! My only grip on this laptop would be it's price here in the philippines. At PhP 85000, it's almost double the price compared to its price in the US with the same configuration. How I just wish that I got invited to Dell's Press launch too. -Lloyd Urbino
ReplyDeleteHello! Actually before I have Dell laptop and I'm very satisfied with it's performance. Actually this laptop is very great but I also agree with you that the price of P 85,000 is too high. Thank you so much for dropping by, xo
DeleteDell desktops are definitely of high-quality (I'm pertaining to desktops) but I haven't tested their laptop models yet. Seemingly, it comes handy at 16 inch screen although it gets way more costly than other brands.

It looks like a pretty good laptop to buy though a little too expensive for me. I like mine within a budget but still able to give me what I need as a business person.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't consider myself a techie person but based on my cousin's experience, Dell seems to be a good brand. But the price tag is really out of reach.
ReplyDeleteI've been an HP user since 2007 and though I'm satisfied with its performance, I'm looking for a lighter and smaller laptop. The Inspiron appeals to me.
ReplyDeleteAnother Mac user here. But I still love my windows phone 8.1 (lumia 1520) :) -Sonnie
ReplyDeleteI have never owned a Dell laptop, but I've heard that they're of high-quality. I'll definitely consider this when I think of buying a new one. Thanks for sharing :)

I haven't used a Dell product before but it seems like a good choice (specs and design wise) if you really have the budget and all :)

Oooh. New electronics are always awesome. It's a fresh start! Love the colors of the laptops!
ReplyDeleteDell has been one of the most reliable laptop provider. I just don't like the size but I am sure it's worth the price.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure this is good news for techies, since Dell has always been known for its quality. P84k seems to be pricey, though. Do you think it's worth the price?
ReplyDeleteI have a Macbook, but if I had a choice to skip Apple, I would go for Dell. It is pretty reliable and of good quality.
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky to go to such an event.Personally, I am into gaming yet affordable devices. This looks good good but too expensive for me. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI own a Dell, a jurassic version that is. I sure wouldn't mind replacing it with one of those laptops that you featured here when I'm able. I love the look and the specs.
ReplyDeleteI've not used a Dell product in a long time, I really like the blue colour of the last laptop! I'm not huge on specifications and what they all mean and usually ask my dad as he is in the know! Looks like an interesting event though!
ReplyDeleteI haven't used any products from Dell but seeing this post they have pretty good specs for a laptop.
ReplyDeleteAlpine White is so nice! :)
ReplyDeleteWow 7th generation.. That sounds like super fast and amazing performance. I currently use 5th generation and absolutely love it. I wonder how amazing 7th would be. Lookwise blue looks so stunning.
